Reimagining how Kenyan households order cooking gas

EasyGas is an LPG delivery app used by Kenyan households. This is an unsolicited redesign — no client, no brief, no access to their data. I rebuilt the three journeys that carry the whole product: ordering, confirming where you are, and knowing the gas is actually coming.

This redesign project reimagines the full user experience: from login and ordering to live tracking — built to improve trust, speed, and clarity for both new and returning users.

Eight screens from the current EasyGas app: a safety-first onboarding slide, a country picker, a home screen with a delivery banner, a product catalogue, a cart, two checkout screens with delivery-mode options, and an order summary.

Eight screens from the EasyGas concept redesign: a Safety is Our Priority onboarding screen, a location-permission sheet, a home screen with search and cylinder sizes, a product detail page, a cart, a checkout screen, an order-placed confirmation, and a live order-tracking map.

Design System – Built for Scale, Clarity & Dual Mode

To ensure consistency, speed, and adaptability across the EasyGas app, I developed a scalable design system powered by Figma Variables — supporting both Light and Dark Mode with ease.

EasyGas design-system foundations: a six-swatch colour palette, five states of the bottom navigation bar, a light/dark colour-variable table, and light and dark promo-card variations for the home screen.
The EasyGas home, product-detail, cart and order-placed screens rendered in dark mode, using the same design-system tokens as the light-mode redesign.

This redesign focused on empathy and clarity, making gas delivery faster, more intuitive, and locally relevant. EasyGas now proves that even essential services can be simple, trusted, and delightful.
