About me
Designer by day.
Creative always.
Crafting digital systems during office hours, exploring visual storytelling everywhere else.
The Designer
I work where product, people, and business meet.
I'm Diana, a product and experience designer based in Nairobi, working globally. I design digital products, brands, and websites, usually for teams trying to make something clearer, more useful, and easier to trust.
I'm interested in the part of design that happens before the pixels: figuring out what actually needs solving, what can be removed, and what will make the product make sense to the person using it. I like getting close to the problem, talking to people, testing ideas, and working closely with engineers so the final product holds up beyond the Figma file.
A lot of my work has happened across different markets and constraints, from health programmes running across four countries to service businesses managing bookings and earnings. That experience has made me less interested in designing for an ideal user and more interested in designing for real conditions: different languages, connectivity, devices, habits, and expectations.
I care about the details, but I care more about whether they are doing a job. Good design should make something easier to understand, easier to use, and easier to believe in.
Off the grid — touch grass
Off the clock, I like being out and about. Most weekends you’ll find me walking, playing padel, hiking, at a concert, trying a new restaurant, or just spending time with good people.
Sometimes the best ideas come when you stop looking for them.
